BBB 26: Xuxa leaves a message of support for Ana Paula after venting about grief

Presenter Xuxa, 63, published a message of support for Ana Paula Renault after being cited by her sister as a reference on how to go through grief. The BBB 26 finalist is experiencing the pain of losing her father, Gerardo Henrique, who died on Sunday (19), aged 96.

The Minas Gerais native’s speech was made after presenter Tadeu Schmidt broke protocol and told Ana Paula that, like her, he is facing grief. His brother, basketball player Oscar Schmidt, died on Friday (17), aged 68, due to illness.

The sister recalled that Xuxa presented a program even after and revered her strength.

“Xuxa was never afraid of being her. She presented the program and said she really had to go. It’s very strong”, recalled Ana Paula. “I think I watched when her father died, I have that in my head. It left an impression on me. Tadeu said it and that came to mind.”

The presenter, in solidarity, left one and declared her intention to give her sister a hug when she leaves confinement.

“Ana, I wanted to give you a heart-to-heart hug and let him speak. May you and your family feel the best energy to overcome this loss! And don’t feel alone in this world. Receive our purest and truest affection”, wrote Xuxa. “And, if you allow me, I want to give you that hug one day.”

Ana Paula decides to stay at BBB 26 after learning of her death

According to the presenter, Ana Paula was informed about the situation and had the option to leave the reality show, but decided to remain in the dispute.

“My father died,” she said, quite emotional. “It’s not making sense to me anymore. It even seemed like I was. And then they didn’t let me talk to anyone, they just said that my sister called and they let me watch a video of my sisters telling me not to leave, that my father was watching me until the end”, he said.

The sister also recalled her father’s encouragement for her participation in the program. “You know he was the one who told me to come, right? Saying that I have to come after my retirement. They said he was watching me and he always said that I needed a direction for my life. I have nothing”, she stated, emotionally.”
