The President of the Republic, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), stated that he can act with “reciprocity” against the United States after the expulsion of Federal Police (PF) delegate Marcelo Ivo. Speaking to the press outside a hotel in Hannover, Germany, Lula stated that he had been informed this Tuesday morning, the 21st, about the episode.
“If there was American abuse towards our police officer, we will do reciprocity with his in Brazil”, stated the president.
