On Thursday, April 16, the viewers of JOJ TV were really surprised. After the main news channel, they were supposed to get a fresh forecast on Best Weather, but that didn’t happen. As the portal pointed out, hydrologist Michal Hazlinger spoke from the television screens, but there was one catch. JOJ accidentally played the wrong edition of the show.
Instead of the current weather forecast, viewers heard the one from the previous Thursday again. The attentive eye did not miss the fact that at the very beginning of the session, the old date was April 9. Correct The best weather with meteorologist Daniel Cibul was watched only by viewers of the JOJ 24 news station.
The TV explained what happened. “The best weather show is not broadcast live, it is recorded in advance on the day. For the first time in the history of the broadcast of the show, an error occurred and, unfortunately, an older version of the weather forecast was used in the broadcast, for which we apologize to the viewers,” said JOJ spokesperson Anna Repková.
“Viewers can regularly find the current and correct weather forecast on the news station JOJ 24, but also in Ranný noviny or Noviny o 12 na JOJka. The correct version of yesterday’s best weather will be published during the day in the archive at joj.sk and on the JOJ play platform” added Repková.
