The Lebanese news agency NNA clarified that it was a drone attack. In addition, he also reports artillery fire and the destruction of houses in the south of the country, which is currently occupied by Israel. They attack each other
According to the Israeli army, Hezbollah fired several rockets towards its soldiers in southern Lebanon. In response, the soldiers hit the rocket launchers. After the militant movement fired rockets at Israel on March 2, the Jewish state began daily strikes on Lebanon and deployed troops in the country’s south.
Despite US President Donald Trump announcing a ten-day truce between Israel and Lebanon on Thursday last week, Israeli troops continue to be active in the south of the neighboring country. Israel’s Defense Minister Yisrael Kac said on Sunday that if its soldiers were threatened, they would respond with “full force”.
Citing the US State Department, The Guardian reported that further talks between the representatives of Lebanon and Israel will take place in Washington on Thursday. US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee will reportedly be part of the US delegation involved in these negotiations.
