Gotto’s daughter Charlotte under fire from critics: Czechs don’t like her change… Really?!

To the legendary singer Karl Gott († 80) and his wife Ivana had two beautiful daughters during their relationship. While Charlotte Ella (19) found her passion in singing, the younger Nella Sofia (17) fell in love with dancing. These days, the public’s attention was mainly focused on the older daughter, who surprised fans with several news from her life.

A young talented artist, who inherited from her father not only her appearance, but also her indisputable musical talent, decided to perform under the stage name Charlotte Gott. She announced this important career step hand in hand with the premiere of her debut single titled In Too Deep. He plans to officially release it symbolically on his 20th birthday, that is, on Thursday, April 30. The composition was created in the London studio Eastcote under the guidance of renowned producer Sacha Skarbek.

The news caused a huge response among her supporters. In hundreds of comments on social networks, her supporters they express their support, they are looking forward to her musical debut and they point out that she inherited the same facial features from her father. However, not everyone showed the same enthusiasm. Some of the debaters started criticizing her new stage name without the ending “-ová”.

One of the commenting ladies really didn’t spare her. “Charlotte Gott. Czech as embroidered. Gott’s holt is not so worldly. Poor father,” an unknown woman wrote under her post. “She could have kept her old surname. Karel wouldn’t have such stellar manners,” her husband reproached her for counting on international success at the beginning of her career.

“Nice girl… but her music probably won’t hit the mark,” believes another commenter even before listening to her new music. However, fans immediately stood up for the singer. They emphasized that the legendary Maestro would undoubtedly be proud of his daughter and would certainly not care about such a formal modification of the surname.
