Argentine government denies journalists access to government headquarters

Buenos Aires – The government of Argentine President Javier Milei has denied accredited journalists access to the Casa Rosada government headquarters. Government spokesman Javier Lanari announced on the X platform on Thursday that fingerprint access had been blocked as a preventative measure following a complaint from the military about espionage. The aim is to ensure national security.
