April is one of the most beautiful times to visit a unique Turkish city that lies on the border of Europe and Asia – Istanbul. Spring brings pleasant temperatures (around 15–20 °C), fewer tourists than in summer and, above all, the wonderful atmosphere of blooming tulips.

Prices of vacations with tickets will be affected by oil
This year will have a decisive influence on the prices of summer vacations for organized tours with travel agencies development of oil prices from May to September. At the moment, it is therefore premature to predict whether the prices of summer holidays will increase due to the introduction of fuel surcharges, Tomáš Lazarov, sales director of travel agency (CK) Hydrotour, told TASR. The International Air Transport Association reported that the average price of aviation fuel in Europe increased year-on-year by 132%, in Asia by 163%.
Before the main summer season of 2026, according to travel agencies, there is the greatest interest in vacations in sought-after Mediterranean countries. According to Hydrotour, Turkey maintains the highest interest for a long time due to the attractive ratio of price and quality of services. Demand is growing especially for the Aegean Riviera around Dalaman, Didim, Bodrum and Izmir.
