A Spanish court ruled that there is no place for criminal liability in the road accident that caused , and his brother, André Silva, in July 2025.
The 28-year-old Portuguese international and Liverpool striker was driving the car in which his brother was also traveling on July 3, in the province of Zamora, northwest of Spain, when the car crashed on the A-52 motorway. The initial investigations from July last year, from the Spanish Guardia Civil, said that “everything points” to the car “probably” being driven by Jota being in the car at the time of the accident.
