The Progressive Slovakia (PS) movement would win the elections to the National Council (NR) of the Slovak Republic in April with 20.8 percent of the vote. The Smer-SD party would finish second with the support of 17.8% of voters. It would be followed by the Hlas-SD party with a gain of 8.9 percent of the vote. This follows from a survey by the AKO agency for Joj 24 television.
SaS (8.2 percent), Republika (8 percent) and Hnutie Slovensko (7.7 percent) would also get into the parliament. KDH (7.6%) and the Democrats (six percent) would also exceed the eligibility threshold. The SNS (4.9 percent), Hungarian Alliance (4.7 percent), We are a family (2.8 percent), Pravo na pravda (2.2 percent) and ĽSNS (0.4 percent) would remain at the gates of the parliament.
Based on the survey, the PS would win 37 seats in the parliament, Direction-SD 32 seats and Hlas-SD 16 seats. With 14 deputies, SaS and Republika would be in the NR SR. The Slovakian Movement and the KDH would win 13 mandates each, and the Democrats would have 11 seats. The survey was conducted from April 8 to 17 on a sample of 1,000 respondents.
