This Friday, April 24th, another ‘Passadeira Vermelha’ aired, a program on SIC Caras led by Liliana Campos.
The presenter received commentators Zulmira Garrido, David Motta and Hugo Mendes in the studio to analyze celebrity news, one of which was about the Angels.
After some news published in the press about the amount that Joana Marques had received from Anjos, an amount referring to the legal costs of the case brought by the singing duo that culminated in the comedian’s acquittal, the duo decided to issue a statement and dot the i’s.
Before even hearing the commentators’ opinions, Liliana Campos decided to show her indignation live: “But what is the interest for the Angels in making announcements for everything and nothing?”he began by questioning.
As the news came after Joana Marques said, on the podcast ‘Humor à Primeira Vista’, that she had already received the amount due, without citing exact amounts, Liliana Campos was perplexed by the stance of the duo of artists.
“It’s just that we ‘went through’ this podcast last week and no one cared about the fact that she said she had already received it, that’s it, she received it, it’s fine. She just says it’s enough for a holiday. Suddenly, there is a concern and, honestly, they don’t want it to be talked about, but they are very badly advised because we, perhaps, weren’t even going to talk about it, but they make a statement and we’re already here saying that “after all, they didn’t pay €31,0000, they paid €5,000”…”realized.
Outraged, the presenter also said: “Whoever loses, pays. But they didn’t want to say “€31,000”, as if that were a bigger offense than €5,000 and ‘not her going on holiday with our money’ (…). It seems like it was Joana who said that amount and they came to say no, when Joana never spoke about amounts”.
