In response to the request from the Minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF), Alexandre de Moraes, to speak out about the shoulder surgery of former President Jair Bolsonaro, the Attorney General’s Office said, this Friday (24), that it does not oppose the procedure.

“The medical report signed on 4/24/2026, in turn, indicates that the patient’s main current complaints are recurrent and intermittent pain in the right shoulder, both at rest and when moving the right upper limb.”, says the decision. “Given the information provided, there is no obstacle to accepting the request. The Attorney General’s Office does not oppose the requests made by Jair Messias Bolsonaro, without prejudice to the adoption of the necessary precautionary measures.”, he adds.

According to the document, the physiotherapeutic report presented by the defense indicates that after carrying out the required surgical procedure, on an elective basis, the subject presents three injuries that require repair through surgical interventions.
