The man was arrested in the act in Novo São Joaquim, in the interior of Mato Grosso
The Civil Police of Mato Grosso arrested red-handedthis Friday (24), a school bus driver suspected of sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl. The 60 year old man allegedly committed the crime while traveling from school to the victim’s housein the rural area of Novo São Joaquim.
The girl’s mother reported the driver on Thursday night (23) after the victim arrive home with altered behavior. To the woman, the girl reported that the man asked her to sit next to him under the justification of helping him open the bus door along the road.
During the journey, the suspect allegedly caressed the girl’s legs and private partswhat resulted in injuries. Os victim’s brothersaged 8 and 6, were also on the bus, but sitting in the back, and did not witness the facts.
The man was detained while transporting students. The police took the suspect to the Novo São Joaquim Police Station and the charged with rape of a vulnerable person.
The victim, accompanied by the Guardianship Council, was heard by the Official Expertise and Technical Identification and made a corpus delicti. The case remains under police investigation.
