Samuel Sant’Anna is accused of attacking Bia Miranda; defense says it does not have access to the process and claims that the case is being processed under secrecy
The São Paulo Court ordered the blocking of R$1 million from the accounts of Samuel Sant’Anna, Gato Preto, in a decision this Monday (April 27, 2026). The São Paulo Public Ministry charged the influencer with domestic violence against influencer Bia Miranda.
The defense said that it has not yet had access to the process and claims to have been surprised by the information over the weekend. Lawyer Jonathas Carvalho informed that he requested to see the files and expects access this Monday (April 27) to understand what happened. He denied that the blockade had been implemented and stated that the information regarding the retention of the amounts was incorrect.
According to the lawyer, the measure may be part of a separate procedure, linked to the case of domestic violence, and under judicial secrecy. The episode would have occurred on June 11, in a hotel in the capital of São Paulo.
According to the Public Ministry, Gato Preto punched Bia Miranda in the face, in addition to holding her by the neck and kicking her in the ribs after knocking her down. The victim underwent examination at the Legal Medical Institute, which found minor injuries. After the case, the influencer asked for protective measures.
The influencer is also responsible for two attempted intentional homicides related to an accident in August 2025. According to prosecutor Lucas de Mello Schaefer, Gato Preto was driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, at high speed, and ran a red light before hitting another car. After the collision, he fled without providing assistance, in addition to threatening one of those involved.
The charges also include threats, failure to provide assistance and violations of the Brazilian Traffic Code. The Public Prosecutor’s Office claims that he assumed the risk of causing deaths by driving in these conditions.
The case also points to an attempt to hinder the investigation by removing objects from the scene of the accident.
The MPSP offered an agreement to Bia Miranda, then the influencer’s girlfriend who was also in the car, as it considered her conduct to have less offensive potential. She agreed to pay a fine of R$150,000, which will go to the victims and a charity.
