There are only four dance couples left in the Let’s Dance competition. In the eighth round of the eleventh series of the glossy Let’s Dance show, things got really hot. The best of the best danced two competitive dances on Sunday. In addition to classical ballroom dancing, 5 couples had to learn choreography under the guidance of a contemporary artist, who tailored it for them.
Right after Kristián Baran’s opening number, it was her turn Gabika Marcinková with Jaroslav Ihring and their quickstep to the song by The Jacksons – Blame It On the Boogie. The dancing couple received a positive evaluation from the jury and a final 33 points. When they moved to the moderator Janka Kovalčikova, her co-star revealed a thing about her that few people knew about her.
“Gabika, you are a multiple champion of Slovakia in steeplechase. I know that you also run a lot in your free time. Can dancing make up for your beloved running during this time?” she asked Kovalčikova. “I would also like to go back to running, but I don’t have time at the moment because I’m running on the floor. I look forward to returning to running one day, but I think that dance is an even more complex sport,” she confessed Marcinková.
