Canadian support for the Ukrainian army
On Sunday, the commander of the Ukrainian army, Oleksandr Syrskyi, said at a meeting with the Chief of the General Staff of the Canadian Armed Forces, Jennie Carignano, that Russian forces are making more intensive offensive efforts practically along the entire front line.
Russia has been waging a war against Ukraine for more than four years, during which it occupied almost a fifth of the territory of the neighboring country. There has been hardly any progress on the front line for months, and Russian forces have achieved only small territorial gains at the cost of heavy losses, adds DPA.
