Fair attraction cable in Seville bursts and leaves four injured

An incident at a fair attraction in Seville, Spain, left four people injured, including two children, after a cable broke while the equipment was operating.

The case occurred last Friday, around 8:20 pm, at the “Steel Max” attraction, which simulates the experience of bungee jumping. During one of the uses, one of the cables gave way, causing the structure where the passengers were to collide repeatedly with the side of the carousel and spin in the air.

Images of the moment were shared on social media and show the impact of the mechanical failure, which generated moments of great tension among those watching.

According to emergency services, the four injured suffered only minor injuries and were treated at the scene, with two of them later transported to a health unit.

After what happened, the area was isolated and authorities began checking the attraction, analyzing the documentation and safety conditions of the equipment.
