Bombings break the ceasefire established between Israel and Lebanon and cause the death and migration of civilians
The Itamaraty , this Monday (April 27, 2026), the death of a Lebanese-Brazilian family after the Israel Defense Forces bombed Lebanon. Among the victims are a man, a woman and an 11-year-old child.
The couple’s wife and daughter were Brazilian. The deaths occurred on Sunday (April 26, 2026). The couple’s other son, also Brazilian, is in the hospital. According to Itamaraty, the family was at home, in the Bint Jeil district, at the time of the attack.

The attacks have already resulted in the deaths of dozens of Lebanese civilians. Brazil condemned the attacks and forced migration of civilians due to the war and is in contact with victims’ families to provide consular support.
