In the message sent to students, the parliamentarian wrote that the strikers contribute to agendas that are contrary to the public university. Furthermore, he said that students do not have the right to paralyze a public service. He also defended the resumption of classes.

Students demand increased scholarships, improvements to the university restaurant and changes to the rules for using academic spaces. A draft on the topic was revoked by the rectory after the strike expanded.
