Vienna – The Schauspielhaus Vienna will have a new artistic direction in autumn 2027 after four years under the direction of the four-person team consisting of Marie Bues, Martina Grohmann, Tobias Herzberg and Mazlum Nergiz. Vienna’s City Councilor for Culture Veronica Kaup-Hasler (SPÖ) will present this at a press conference on Thursday. However, the contracts of Esther Holland-Merten in Theater am Werk and Anna Horn in Jungle Vienna were extended.
