“Day after day, wars continue to kill innocent people. They continue to decimate women and children. They continue to interrupt lives, destroy dreams,” he said.

Then, the first lady brought details and what happened. “Yesterday, Ali Ghassan Nader, 11 years old, and his mother, Manal Jaafar, died after Israeli attacks in Lebanon. Two Brazilians who, far from their country of origin, were victims of an unacceptable war. In the attack, their father, Ghassan Nader, who was Lebanese, was also killed”.
