A motorcycle courier, who became known on social media for “terrorising pedestrians”, is the target of an operation of the Civil Police in Rio de Janeiro, this Thursday morning (30). The profile “Everyone hates motorcycle courier”by Gabriel da Silva Alentejo, 27 years old, It already has almost 40 thousand followers.
According to investigations, the man gained notoriety for carrying out conduct that puts road safety and physical integrity of people at risk on the streets of Niterói, in the Metropolitan Region of Rio.
The “Via Segura” action served a search and seizure warrant against Gabriel. The motorcycle courier began to be investigated in January this year, when the police received information about the profile he was making “the shameless disclosure of infractions and illegal practices committed while driving a motorcycle through the city streets.”

According to the police, Gabriel used his father’s motorcycle for the recordings and “even after the negative repercussion of the case in the local media, the person being investigated published new videos on social media, which offended and challenged public authorities”, say the investigators.
Deputy Lucas Brisola reported that in addition to the warrant against the man, it was also determined that suspension of the motorcycle courier’s CNH (National Driving License) and the vehicle was seized.
If convicted, the person being investigated could serve a sentence of up to three years in prison, in addition to being prevented from obtaining a license to drive motor vehicles.
