The White House has given countless signs of support to the “president in charge” after the events of January 3 that led to the “kidnapping” of Maduro by United States special forces. Rodríguez is about to complete his fourth month at the head of the Executive. A recent survey by the Brazilian consulting firm Atlas Intel carried out for the Bloomberg portal shows that its positive image fell from 35% in March to 31% in Aprill. Disapproval has gone from 45% to 47%. The decline would reflect internal unrest due to the economic situation. Rodríguez has asked for patience.
