Venice – The Venice Art Biennale – one of the world’s most important exhibitions of contemporary art – does not come to rest. A few days before the start of the exhibition, the international jury collectively announced their resignation. There has been a dispute for months over Russia’s participation in the Biennale despite the war of aggression against Ukraine. In addition, the jury came under criticism last week because it excluded Russia and Israel from awarding the Biennale prizes.
