
Rights, not trenches. Wages, housing and democracy. With that motto at the forefront of the demonstrations, thousands of workers called by the unions have walked the streets of some 80 cities in Spain during the morning of this Friday. Along with the usual demand they fight for, better remuneration conditions for the working class, CC OO and UGT have warned on Labor Day of the rise of the extreme right – a political movement that – and of the exorbitant movement – that weakens the purchasing power of so many people. That is why they have , a city that is a paradigm of the problems in accessing housing in Spain, for the main demonstration for May Day, coinciding with the day on which the electoral campaign begins in Andalusia.
