The teacher from Faro had disappeared in March
The circumstances surrounding the death of Carla Rocha, who was on medical leave at the time she disappeared, are not yet known. According to authorities, there will be, at first, no signs of crime.
The body of Carla Rochathe 49-year-old teacher who had been missing since March, was found this Friday in the Ria Formosa area, in Faro, putting an end to weeks of anguish for the family and the school community.
According to , the corpse was seen in the morning by shellfish collectors who were in the area of Faro Island, and the alert was given at 10:25 am. Resources from the Maritime Police, GNR and Sapadores de Faro were immediately mobilized, and the body ended up being recovered after 1 pm.
