US will sell weapons to allies in the Middle East for more than 7 billion euros

The United States will sell weapons to several allies in the Middle East worth more than 8.6 billion dollars (around 7.3 billion euros). They are destined for Israel, Qatar, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.

The announcement was made this Friday by the US State Department at a time of impasse in peace negotiations with Iran.

Trump contradicts himself on war

“There are options. Do we want to go in there and just completely wipe them out and finish them off for good or do we want to try to come to an agreement? Those are the options.”

Iran presented, on Thursday, a new proposal to resume negotiations with the United States, currently at an impasse, with the aim of ending the war.

On February 28, Israel and the United States launched a joint attack on Iran, which destroyed much of Tehran’s military capacity and missile and drone manufacturing industry.
