A small plane crashed and collided with a building this Monday (4) in the residential neighborhood of Silveira, in Belo Horizonte. The aircraft had four people. Three passengers are in serious condition, according to the Minas Gerais Fire Department. There is still no confirmation on the pilot’s health status. There is still the possibility of another victim being under the wreckage.

After hitting the apartment building, the plane crashed into a parking area. Shortly before the collision, the pilot informed the Pampulha Airport control tower that he was facing difficulties in the takeoff procedure.

According to the Civil Aviation Agency (Anac), the model involved in the accident would be an EMB-721C, from 1979, a twin engine with capacity to transport up to six people. The aircraft is registered in the name of Flavio Loureiro Salgueiro.
