As if it wasn’t already beating enough competition in the streetcar world, BYD is now building a car for convertible fans.
O Denza Zwhich was recently presented at the Beijing Motor Show is – describe the experts at – “a beast”.
Equipped with an electric powertrain of three engines with more than 1,000 hp, it is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in less than two seconds.
It is four-seater convertible With a retractable canvas roof, it will have carbon fiber seats and elements of this material throughout the body to keep the weight low.
The Denza Z will come with and support 1,500 kW Flash Charging 2.0 for a full recharge em less than 10 minutes.
Although the company has not yet confirmed these details, New Atlas estimates that this model will achieve a WLTP range of 599 km.

The car is currently being tested at the Nurburgring circuit ahead of its global launch at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK in July.
