In a gesture to the business community, the president (PT) will be, this Tuesday (5), at an event celebrating the 70th anniversary of Anfavea (National Association of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers).
The ceremony will honor the vice-president of the Republic, (), for his work at the head of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services.
For the sector, the government launched financing for the purchase of trucks and buses. At the beginning of his term, he also launched a program to make cars cheaper.
Journalists from the automotive sector and the ABC Metalworkers Union, which was chaired by Lula, will also be among those honored.
The ceremony will be full of messages. Amid the tariffs imposed by , Anfavea must reinforce the sector’s long-term commitment to Brazil and highlight, with more than R$140 billion expected by 2033.
Behind the scenes, the event is also treated as another gesture of institutional rapprochement with the Powers. Lula must give messages to the sector in defense of reindustrialization and energy transition.
The ceremony will be at the National Theater, with a performance by the Symphony Orchestra. Another honoree will be , considered a patron of the automotive industry in Brazil. JK will be recreated in a video using artificial intelligence.
