The Salvor mast stood on a roundabout in the Strand for decades. But it was disassembled in 2020 and stored since then at a shipyard on Newton Road.
Peter Elson, a sea tour guide, spoke to Liverpool City Council for the council to honor its previous commitment to try to find a suitable new home for the mast. But the Chamber stated that no one showed interest in moving the mast locationbut is open to proposals.
