At least one suspect is on the run after taking hostages and fleeing the scene of an attack on a savings agency in the city of Sinzig, in western Germany, police said on Friday (8).
The hostages, including an armored car driver, were released unharmed, police added.
However, the police stated that they were working with the hypothesis that there were multiple perpetrators.
