PT was against opening the Master CPI, says Flávio Bolsonaro

According to senator, party wants to “pay nice”, but “tried to block” investigations in Congress

The senator and pre-candidate for President for PL, (RJ), said this Friday (May 8, 2026) that the was against the opening of the Master’s CPI (Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry). In a video published on social media, he stated that PT deputies did not sign the request to open the investigation in Congress.

“You know what’s curious? Lulinha’s father could appear at any moment saying he supports Banco Master’s CPI. But let me tell you what he doesn’t say. The PT was against the CPI. The PT deputies didn’t sign. But now we can’t hold back any longer. Here comes the theater”says in the video published on Instagram.

The senator cited episodes that, according to him, relate to the president’s government (PT).

“Is the PT against the CPI because it involves politicians from Bahia that they have controlled for more than 20 years? Or is it because the family of Jaques Wagner, leader of the PT, received R$11 million from a company linked to the case? Or because Guido Mantega, who was once Lula’s Finance Minister, received R$1 million per month from the bank just to lobby within the government? Or because Lewandowski, former Minister of Justice, received R$5 million?”he states.

And it continues: “Now, hold that! Or is it because Lula himself had a great meeting outside the official agenda with the owner of Banco Master, surrounded by high-ranking ministers like Rui Costa, from the Civil House? Too many coincidences, right? In fact, Rui Costa was governor of Bahia, where the whole Banco Master story began.”

According to Flávio, “the PT didn’t want to investigate, they tried to stop it, but they couldn’t”. And he concludes: Do they want to pay nice? Doesn’t stick. Whoever tried to hide it, now can’t pose as a hero”.
