O chief Raoni Metuktireaged 94, was discharged from hospital this Saturday morning (9) after being admitted with a chronic hernia condition at Hospital Dois Pinheiros, in Sinop, Mato Grosso. The Raoni Institute had informed, last Thursday (7), that the indigenous leader’s agenda was suspended.
In a note, the institute stated that, during the the chief presented good clinical evolution and stability of the general framework. According to the hospital, Raoni was taken to the unit after experiencing abdominal pain. The indigenous leader was evaluated by the medical team, with cardiological monitoring.
