Neusiedl am See – The ongoing drought also has an impact on Lake Neusiedl. The water level is currently 115.43 meters above the Adriatic, six centimeters lower than at the same time last year. At the moment, however, this is “not yet worrying,” emphasized Christian Sailer, who heads the main water management department in the Burgenland state government. He is hoping for precipitation next week.
