Two people inhaled the fumes of the fire in the apartment fire in Nové Zámky. The fire in an apartment building on Nova Street broke out on Monday shortly before 12:15 p.m., the Regional Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Service (HaZZ) in Nitra reported.

- The fire started in the kitchen of the apartment, probably in the area of the domestic boiler.
- The whole apartment was heavily smoky and there were three people inside.
- Two people inhaled the fumes of the fire and were taken over by the health service.
- Firefighters extinguished the fire, ventilated the house and checked for possible hidden fires.
Upon arrival at the scene, the firemen discovered that it is a fire in the kitchen of the apartment, probably in the area of the boiler. The whole apartment was heavily smoky. There were three people in the apartment. Two of them ended up in the care of emergency medical services.
Firefighters on the spot investigated the apartment, located and extinguished the fire in the kitchen area, and then ensured the ventilation of the smoky areas of the apartment building. At the same time, the control of possible hidden fires was also carried out to prevent re-ignition.
