On Sunday, May 10, 2026, the special 11th year of the dance show Let’s Dance culminated in a grand finale. Three competing couples who left their hearts on the dance floor fought for the title of king and queen of the dance floor. Their goal was not only to get a positive evaluation from the jury, but especially to win the favor and votes of TV viewers.
Zuzana Porubjaková and Matyáš Adamec became the winners after an exciting fightwho charmed fans with their paso doble, cha-chou and imaginative freestyle. Second place was won by audience favorites Ján Koleník and Dominika Roškováwhile the bronze bar belonged Kristián Baran and Eliška Betaková.
The popular actress and new queen of the dance floor, Zuzana Porubjaková, did not forget to draw attention to her dance partner in her acceptance speech. “Maty, I’ll tell you everything in person, because you’re not big on words, but I really appreciate that you made that mistake, because to err is human. It’s nice to show those mistakes, because we’re not perfect like on all social networks.” she commented on the margo tanca paso doble, where Adamec lost his balance for a few seconds.
Immediately, she did not hide her gratitude for the mutual journey through the competition and emphasized that the time they spent together enriched her as a person. “That truth is very important to me and I have become stronger thanks to you. Thank you for that” she added to Matyáš’s address, touching not only him but also the audience.
The dancer himself was overcome by strong emotions, while his eyes glistened from trying to hold back a tear. “I would especially like to thank Zuzka. I have made such a commitment to this series that I want to do the best possible job and I can’t imagine that it would go with someone else… that it would go with someone else as well as it did with Zuzka. I will carry this relationship with me for the rest of my life and I am very grateful for it.” he said sincerely and finally thanked his friend Sonya Milová, who is also a professional dancer.
A long way to the winning title
It remains questionable whether these words did not touch his former partners, with whom he had danced with in the past, but did not raise the winning cup over his head. He started his career in the project in the eighth series, when he and Gabriela Marcinková were aiming for the title, but in the end they took the silver rank.
In the following years, he accompanied Petra Dubayová on the dance floor, with whom he said goodbye in the eighth round, and Eva Burešová, with whom they left the competition in the seventh round. Only the special eleventh year alongside Zuzana Porubjaková became the victorious end of this long journey for him, when he finally turned his previous final experience into an absolute triumph.
