In Ukraine’s capital, the night brought one of the biggest Russian attacks since the start of the war. In a massive missile and drone attack, a residential building partially collapsed. Among the dead, who are still being counted, is a 12-year-old child.

It was almost four in the morning when terror returned to the capital of Ukraine.

Across the street, in the Darnitskyi district, a nine-story residential building partially collapsed.

The provisional balance is as tragic as expected. By late afternoon on Thursday, there were at least eight confirmed deaths, including a 12-year-old child.

Young hero

In the midst of the rubble, fatalities continue to emerge, but also acts of heroism. Ivan, 18 years old, pulled a woman alive from the wreckage.

The mayor of Kiev warns that the number of fatalities is likely to continue to rise.

According to Volodymyr Zelensky, a total of 180 locations were hit across the country last night, including more than 50 residential buildings.
