The first hearing in the proceedings of the Italian parents’ association MOIGE against Meta and TikTok took place in a court in Milan on Thursday. The lawsuit is directed against the use of the platforms by minors and, according to the plaintiffs, is considered the first European class injunction to protect children in the digital sector.
