Rome – Inter Milan won the Coppa Italia, completing the third national double in the club’s history. Of all places, in the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, the champions defeated Lazio Rome 2-0 (2-0). It was Inter’s tenth cup victory overall, while coach Maurizio Sarri’s defeated team lost their chance to take part in the European Cup next season.
