Seen as one of favorites to lift the most important cup in the world in 2026, France announced this Thursday (14) the list of 26 players who will defend the team in the World Cup. Under the command of coach Didier Deschamps, the European team has 11 players who also defended the French shield in 2022, the year in which they were crowned world runners-up.

Group I of the first phase of the World Cup, in addition to France, is made up of Senegal, Iraq and Norway. The French team’s debut in the competition will be on the day June 16th at 4:00 pm (from Brasília), against Senegal, at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, United States.
