Survey reveals that only 20% of the population sees cooperation between the Powers; for 89% of the group that perceives a conflict, the situation is negative for the country
A relationship between the government of President Lula (PT) and the National Congress is from more confrontation than collaboration to 70% of Brazilians, according to research published by Datafolha. The survey shows that 20% of the population sees a scenario of greater cooperation between the Executive and the Legislative.
According to the institute, 2% of those interviewed said they saw neither confrontation nor collaboration, while 8% were unable to respond.
The numbers also show how the population evaluates the functioning between the Powers. Among the 70% who see more confrontation, 89% classify the fact as negative to Brazil, and 10% consider positive. In the group of 20% who see more collaboration, 58% say the relationship is positive for the country, against 38% which define it as negative.
The research results highlight recent episodes of clashes between the Three Powers. In the Legislature, the government faced the (STF) and the para accused of coup acts.
The Datafolha survey was carried out before involving the senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) e o dono do Banco MasterDaniel Vorcaro.
Assessment of Powers
Datafolha also measured approval from Congress and the Presidency. THE work of federal deputies and senators is considered bad or terrible by 37% of those interviewed. Already from 43% evaluate the Legislature as regulare 15% classify it as good or great.
In relation to President Lula, after three years and four months in office, 39% of voters evaluate the government’s work as bad or terrible. To 30%management is good or greatwhile 29% consider it regular.
The survey interviewed 2,004 people in 139 municipalities in all regions of the country on Tuesday (12) and Wednesday (13). The margin of error is two percentage points, plus or minus. The survey is registered with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) under number BR-00290/2026.
