Two planes collided during an exhibition in the city of Mountain Home, in the State of Idaho, in the United States, on the afternoon of this Sunday, 17th.

Videos published on social media show the moment the planes collide and the pilots eject. There is no information about the victims at this time.

The planes were part of the Gunfighter Skies Air Show, where maneuvers and other displays are performed for the public. The region has a military base for the North American Air Force.

“Emergency teams are on scene. An investigation is ongoing and more details will be released as they become available,” says a statement released by the organization.

At approximately 4:20 pm (1:20 pm local time), the Mountain Home Police Department released a statement announcing that the event was officially canceled and asking people not to attempt to approach the scene of the accident.

The KTVB television network said on its website that “several witnesses to the event reported that two jets collided” and that “videos from spectators show a dark cloud of smoke in the region.”
