Vienna – A 42-year-old was not legally sentenced to 18 years in prison for attempted murder at the Vienna Regional Court on Thursday. He will be placed in a forensic therapeutic center in accordance with Section 21 Paragraph 2 because, according to a psychiatric report, he poses a danger to others. In November 2025, he stabbed his 54-year-old roommate in an assisted living facility for addicts in Vienna-Meidling with a hunting knife.
