SV Ried can hope for an international starting place. The Innviertel team celebrated a 2-1 home win over Rapid in the final first leg of the Bundesliga European Cup play-offs on Friday. Nikki Havenaar (14th) and Joris Boguo (77th) made the Ried fans cheer, while Romeo Amane (75th) scored for the once again disappointing Hütteldorfer. The return match takes place on Monday in Vienna, with the winner taking part in the second qualifying round of the Conference League in the summer.
