In a scenario of diffuse complaints from the readership, she identifies two main problems in Sheet: modernize the space for comments in reports and increase transparency in .
The ombudsman claims to have no problems with , but sees a contradiction between the practice of indicating the use of AI in images published on the networks and the absence of any signaling when the tool is used in texts.
“A newspaper like Sheet it still lives off selling the word, so it’s bad to sell the outsourced word. What I regret is that the newspaper insists on not identifying this use”, he says. “As much as the editorial team has improved its presence in videos and podcasts, the basis of the newspaper is still the text. It’s a question of loyalty to the reader who is paying for this content.”
The ombudsman raised the debate about the use of AI in a column published in February this year. Based on a complaint from a reader, she used programs to verify that they had been made using technology. At the time, the entrepreneur said that AI was necessary to optimize her productivity: “My texts use AI; my thinking does not.”
