According to a newspaper report, the European Union (EU) wants to impose a record fine in the high three-digit million range against the Alphabet subsidiary Google. The “Handelsblatt” reported on Monday, citing circles in the EU Commission, that the proceedings regarding a violation of the Digital Markets Act are nearing completion.
