23 May (Reuters) – Datafolha survey released this Saturday showed that 38% of Brazilians evaluate President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s government as bad or terrible, a slight drop compared to the 39% who considered it to act in this way in the survey released a week ago.
On the other hand, 32% rated the management as excellent or good, up from 30% before, while 28% rated it as regular, up from 29%. The percentage fluctuated within the margin of error of two percentage points.
In the new survey, approval and disapproval are now tied at 48%, while in the previous survey 45% approved of the resident’s work and 51% disapproved of it.
Datafolha interviewed 2,004 people aged 16 or over in 139 municipalities, in face-to-face interviews carried out on Wednesday and Thursday.
This was the first survey carried out in its entirety after the disclosure of relations between senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) and the former owner of Banco Master, Daniel Vorcaro. The day before, Datafolha pointed out that Lula would win the presidential election with 47% of the votes in the second round against 43% for Flávio.
