Nigerian striker Victor Udoha, who worked in the Czech first league club Dynamo České Budějovice, died at the age of only 21. His body was found in his native country, with the British media warning that the death was accompanied by suspicious circumstances, informs. The South Bohemian club also confirmed the information about his sudden death on their social networks on Tuesday.
“It is with great sadness that we received the news of the death of Victor Udoh, who came to Dynamo last summer. He started three matches and scored two goals for our reserves this season.” stated Dynamo Ceske Budejovice in his statement on Facebook. The cause of death is not yet officially known and an investigation is underway. However, according to the information of the British newspaper the death occurred under “suspicious circumstances”.
Udoha had a promising career in Europe. From the home team Hypebuzz, he first transferred to the Belgian Antwerp. Subsequently, he managed to get a contract in the British Isles. In 2025, he became a player for Southampton, England. Although he did not play in the prestigious Premier League match, he left England after seven months and headed to the south of the Czech Republic, where he signed a three-year contract with Dynamo.
