The president of the Legislative Assembly of São Paulo (Alesp) and candidate for the Senate for , André do Prado was the first to like and respond with applause to the photo published by the senator (PL-RJ) alongside , this Tuesday (26).
Prado then shared the photo on his Instagram account and wrote that the meeting “shows the strength of international dialogue”.
Prado’s nods to Bolsonarism have been frequent on social media, especially since the state deputy was chosen by Eduardo Bolsonaro to run for one of the Senate seats.
Prado, sponsored by the president of the PL, has made an effort to attract the PL more aligned with Bolsonarism.
Eduardo preferred federal deputy Mário Frias or state deputy Gil Diniz, but bowed to Prado and Valdemar’s insistence.
The argument in Prado’s defense is that the president of Alesp is a name more accepted in the political class and with a greater chance of winning over center voters. He faces resistance from “root” Bolsonarism, however.
