The controversy surrounding Helena Coelho’s criticism of Bad Bunny’s show at Estádio da Luz continues to give people something to talk about. After sharing a video where she was disappointed with the show, the influencer has now revealed that she was insulted and “attacked in the street”.
Upon leaving the show, Helena Coelho published a spontaneous video on TikTok alongside her friends, where she stated that the show seemed “monotonous”, criticizing the sound, the “dead times” and the absence of dancers.
The statements generated a wave of negative reactions on social media, leading the content creator to later explain herself in a new video.
“I really wanted to go, I bought my ticket almost a year ago, I paid like everyone else and I went because I’m a genuine fan”, he began by saying.
Helena admitted that perhaps today she used “a different tone” to comment on the show, having spoken “in the heat of the moment”, but reinforced that she never said that the show had been “horrible”.
“We liked the experience, we liked the songs, but the show that day didn’t live up to our expectations,” he explained.
The influencer was surprised by the extent of the controversy and revealed that both she and her partner were targets of attacks.
“André was attacked, I was attacked in the street, people calling me names in the middle of the street… as if I had committed a public crime”, he said.
Helena Coelho also considered the aggressiveness generated by a simple opinion about a show “scary”, highlighting that she never sought privileges or access to exclusive areas of the event.
